DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Office Calendar No. 3" or "Peanut" 8-day double dial calendar, c1868
CONDITION:
the rosewood veneered case is in very nice condition with a smooth glossy surface. There is a repaired split at the door's lower left side, but not noticeable. The dials were restored by Smallwood in 1974 and have very minor paint losses around the mounting screws. The S/T hands are correct; the paper rollers have darkened appropriately. The round movement looks clean, and there is a good black/gold label inside the door. Ht 24"
